MONTAG
I've often thought about how to show art and culture in a way that brings them closer to life. Less threshold, less distance – more everyday, more encounter.
MONTAG is a place where people eat – and where art is simply part of it. Not as an exhibition in the traditional sense, but as part of the evening.

The exhibitions change regularly. Every two weeks, new positions are shown. This keeps the space in motion and makes every MONTAG a little different.

The kitchen is simple and honest, inspired by my grandmother's recipes from Liguria. She taught me a great deal through cooking and eating together. I'd like to pass some of that
on. There are only a few dishes: pasta, an oven-baked dish, bread and wine. The menu changes every Monday. Nothing more is needed.
